Fun Outdoor Activities Kids, Teens & Adults

We all need more Fun Outdoor Activities Adults, Teens & Kids, too. Back in the day, the great outdoors was the only place we could really have fun. Bad weather days were the WORST! But today, with the rise in popularity and availability of technology… There are many options for indoor fun: TV, Movies, and the vast world of Video Gaming. Gaming, especially, has become addictive. Now, instead of being our back-up plan, indoor entertainment is too often our Plan A. And, we’ve become so much more sedentary and less healthy because of it. So, how do we get back to a more healthy lifestyle?

Fun Outdoor Activities Kids, Teens & Adults! –New, Active and Addictive (in a good way) Outdoor Games for the WIN!

We’ve finally found an outdoor game that is Fun… Easy to Play at any level (Toddler to Adult, Beginner to Advanced Skill Level) … Active (at the activity level you choose, so anyone can play) … And completely Portable. So you can play it whenever and wherever you want. Then, pack it away in it’s own case when you’re done. For about the cost of your first tailgate beverage bill, you can get yours.

The game itself is pure genius, in our opinion. Once you play it, you’ll understand our choice of the words ‘addictive (in a good way).’ Even the dual use of equipment is brilliant. Watch the video below for a demo, and see what we mean.

Great for Tailgating, Beach, Backyard, Camping – Fun Outdoor Activities Kids, Teens, & Adults

Headed to your favorite college or pro sporting event? Tailgating is one of the best parts, right? Take along this game, and you’ll be the Tailgating God or Goddess! And when the game’s over, you can convert the chair goals/baskets back into chairs for seating. You can even decorate the goal posts with your favorite team fan flags: One for your favorite team and one for your opponent’s team.

Beach Trip? No problem! This game is so much easier to set up than a beach volleyball net! Just open the 2 chairs, that you can later use as, well, chairs on the beach… attach the goal posts and convert the seat into a basket. And, when your beach day day draws to a close, just pack everything back into its own carrying case and tote it back to your car, condo, beach house, or wherever.

Hosting a crowd at your house? Take the party outside with this Fun-For-The-Whole-Family game. Set the chairs closer to make it easier for toddlers and Beginner skill levels… Or further apart for Intermediate and Advanced Skill Levels. And with alternate rules, you can make the game as challenging as you want it to be.

And camping… Camp chairs are a must with camping. And with the dual use chairs, you’ll have both a camping essential and a fun game for all your campers to play.

The design is so simplistic, it’s brilliant! It starts with 2 completely usable camp chairs… With a basket modification for the game… 2 goal posts and a football. There’s also a carrying case, a kicking tee and a ball pump.

And you can even personalize it. Yep! Rep your favorite team by adding your favorite team’s fan flag to one goal post and your opponent’s flag to the other. Licensed team fan flags are also available on this site. Just add your favorites to your cart!

Fun fact: This is the only Football game on the market right now. And, as such, it’s this season’s hottest outdoor game. This will be fun for all for many years to come! Get yours here for about the cost of the food OR adult beverages for one family or neighborhood get together.

Basic Rules for QB54: Fun Outdoor Activities Kids, Teens & Adults

  • Set goals (chairs) 40′ apart for Intermediate Skill Level … Closer for Beginners… Or further apart for Advanced.
  • Play 1 on 1 or in teams.
  • Each team remains behind their respective goal.
  • Determine which team plays Offense first (gets the first opportunity to score.) We suggest a coin flip, just like in real American Football.
  • One member of the Offensive team becomes the Quarterback (QB)… And attempts to throw the football through the goal posts.
  • Then it’s the other team’s turn. Their QB now gets the same opportunity to score.
  • Alternate teams, with a different team player taking a turn as QB.
  • Defensive players may not block or otherwise prevent the ball from reaching its target. Remember, stay behind your goalposts.
  • Switch sides when the leading team reaches 12 points, 24 points, 36 points and 48 points.

Scoring

  • 3 points for a Completion – QB throws ball through the goalposts OR the ball hits any part of the chair or goal posts before it hits the ground.
  • If the thrown ball bounces off the ground and then into the basket, the Offensive team scores 2 points.
  • The Defense can score 3 points if they catch a rebound from the chair or goalposts before the ball hits the ground.
  • 6 points for a Touchdown – QB throws ball into the basket.
  • After scoring a Touchdown, the Offensive team may try for the extra point, by using the kicking tee and attempting to kick the ball through the goal posts. If successful, the extra 1 point is earned.
  • BONUS: If the kicked ball lands in the basket, that’s called a FITZ, and the game is automatically won by the team scoring the FITZ.

Winning the Game

  • Other than by a FITZ, the game is won by the first team who reaches 54 points.
  • Game must be won by at least 2 points.
  • Lagging team always has an opportunity to make one last play to catch up. This is Over Time (OT).
  • OT play continues with each team getting ONE chance to score one last time. When in OT, the first team to fail to catch the leading team with one throw, loses.

Optional Rules and Game Play for Intermediate and Advanced Levels

  • Decide which optional rules will be used prior to start of game.
  • Pick 6 Rule for Interception of a Pass: When the Offensive team throws a pass that rebounds off of the chair or uprights (not the ground), the Defensive team can try to catch the rebound ball. If the Defense catches the rebound ball before it hits the ground, that’s an interception! With this rule, the Defense has 2 options when they intercept a ball:
    • Immediately take a knee and score 3 points.
    • Try to run the ball to as close to the goal at the opposite end of the “field” as possible. At this point, the Offensive players can run onto the field to try to stop the Defensive player who intercepted the ball. Stop the player with two-hand touch. Then, the Defensive player who intercepted the ball gets the opportunity to throw the ball into the goal from the exact point where the two-hand touch was applied. If the Defensive player scores a touchdown (see rules for touchdown above), the Defensive team scores 6 points. If no touchdown is achieved, the Defense gets zero points for the interception. It’s a risk to give up the 3 points to try for 6… Is it worth it? You have a split second to decide.
  • Pick 6 Rule for Interception of an Extra Point Kick: Defense can also intercept the extra point kick, if the ball bounces off the chair or uprights (but not off the ground). Same rules as Interception of a Pass. Same split second to make a decision.
  • Hail Mary option: If one team reaches 54 points and is ahead by more than 6 points, a Hail Mary play can be attempted by the behind team. Here’s how:
    • Calculate the number of points between the ‘ahead’ team and the ‘behind’ team. (It must be more than 6.)
    • Then, the behind team QB takes the ball, does an about-face and walks that same number of paces behind his goal. (Regular stride steps … No toddler steps allowed, unless the QB is, in fact, a toddler.)
    • So if the score is 54 to 30, there’s a 24 point difference. Therefore, the behind team QB will take 24 steps further away from the goal they’ll be throwing at.
    • QB turns back around and attempts to score a touchdown from the new (longer) distance.
    • If a touchdown is scored, the team scoring the Hail Mary touchdown wins. Otherwise, the team who reached 54 points first wins.
  • Laterals – Lateral throws during a Pick 6 Interception can be added as a rule before the game starts. A lateral is a sideways or backwards direction toss (no forward tosses) to another player on your team before the two-hand touch is applied.
